What is it? Who is it?
Michael Sheard was born in Aberdeen in 1938 and went to the city’s Grammar School. After attending the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London he went on to appear in numerous TV, Film and Stage roles.
But he undoubtedly made an indelible impression for people in the UK with two particular roles at both ends of the 80’s!
First up Star Wars Empire Strikes Back!
Michael played Admiral Ozzel. He who gets force chocked by Vader!
And then later in the decade he played the great Mr Bronson in Grange Hill! One of the most terrifying portrayals of a teacher ever.!
And so here we are with a homage to the man who sadly died in 2005. It’s quite amazing what a life someone can have and should help encourage anyone to pursue their dreams!
